Evenings at Vantor House unfold in layers. Residential floors remain quiet by design — housekeeping completes turn-down service by seven, corridor lighting softens, and the express elevators prioritize guests returning from dinner or theater. The public-facing evening program concentrates on two levels: the lounge on eleven and an optional gaming lounge on the lower mezzanine, physically separated from the residential stack.
We describe our location as a gateway between composed tower living and the brighter districts within walking distance. You may spend an entire stay without leaving the building, or you may walk ten minutes toward marquee venues and return to linen silence. The choice is entirely yours; the house does not steer either direction.
The Lounge — Floor 11
A long room of glass and low brass lamps facing the terrace district. No television, no DJ booth — only a grand piano played by resident and visiting musicians on a rotating schedule. Cocktail service emphasizes classics: stirred martinis, highballs with quality tonic, wine by the glass from a short list that changes monthly.
Thursday through Saturday, a trio may occupy the corner stage for two sets of small-format jazz — standards at conversational volume, never competing with the view. Seating mixes low sofas and individual chairs so solo guests feel as welcome as couples. Last call is midnight; the lounge closes by twelve-thirty so residential floors stay undisturbed.

Separate from the lounge and residential elevators, an optional gaming lounge welcomes guests twenty-one years of age and older with valid photo identification. Entry is voluntary — no package, promotion, or stay requirement includes it. The room offers table games and electronic terminals in a subdued interior that mirrors the tower's muted palette rather than the brighter aesthetic of large venues downtown.
Staff verify age at entry and may request identification at any time. The lounge closes at two in the morning; cash and chip transactions follow local regulations. We maintain a visible summary of responsible play resources at the entry desk and train staff to recognize signs of distress. Guests under twenty-one, or those who prefer not to participate, may ignore this room entirely with no impact on their reservation or access to any other amenity.

Vantor House concierge maintains a printed weekly calendar at the lobby desk — not a digital feed that pings your phone, but a simple sheet you may photograph and forget. Car service and rideshare pickup are available at the porte-cochère on the east side of the tower.
Many guests pair a quiet evening in the lounge with a single outing — a show, a gallery opening, a stroll toward the illuminated corridor — then return for tea in the Upper Pantry before sleep. The tower is built for that rhythm: activity outside, stillness inside.
